This is funny MadTV stuff. But so true.

I know I am going to get my butt kicked for that one from my fiance but I am just so mad about the Media censorship happening here.

Kathy Griffin, some actor I had actually not heard much about received a creative art Emmy yesterday. Fine. Who cares. As most or all winners she went up the stage and felt compelled to say a few words, well who wouldn’t? How else do you get air-time right?

Anyway. She said: "…a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus." and she finished up with: "The award is my god now!".

As you can imagine, the Al Sharpton of churches, the catholic church, called outrage. They call it a "hate speech" and to "denounce Griffin’s obscene and blasphemous comment."

This is truly ridiculous. Since when do we live in a religious totalitarian regime? Since when can one not call a cheap plastic statue her god? It is her freaking business. No-one else’s. Granted, 90% + of all people in this country will not agree with her but that does not matter. This country was supposed to be founded on the principles of free speech and belief.

E! who is airing this event said they may censor her speech and even bleep wards. So what will it be? "…a lot of people come up here _____. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than bleep." and "The award is my bleep now".

If I was Griffin I would throw that bleep right at them. Such narrow-minded idiots that cannot understand just because something is the minority it may be censored? Who cares if she thinks that little statue is her God? So be it! And if she does not think Jesus had anything to do with her getting the award, well so don’t all Jews, Muslims, Hindu and Buddhist (just an assumption) which is probably close to half the worlds population. Maybe she believes, that she worked so hard getting this Emmy, no divine intervention happened. So?

All this does not have anything to do with my own belief. It should not have to do with anyone’s belief as her belief is her own. How can a fundamental belief be called ridiculous even if it sounds like such to most people. E! and Catholic Church, you are ridiculous.
I pity the fool.

It was a long coming but Microsoft finally released the first beta of the "Live Suite". Basically cramming all their Live apps into one installer.

I was mostly interested in the Windows Live Gallery which basically is new for Windows XP and a Live extension for Windows Vista. So far, well it’s a gallery that lets me post to Windows Live spaces. Woopdidu. Other applications for Windows and Mac have been doing that for 300 or so years.
So, besides all that I guess it is a descent image cataloging application. — After I installed it, it kept crashing on me and I was already getting ready to yell at Microsoft. Before I was going to do that I wanted to figure out why and somehow that fixed it. Curious. Don’t you hate it when you fix something and you don’t know how you did it?

As for the new beta of Windows Live Writer? Well so far so good. Just a couple enhancements like Video posting, which I don’t have much need for yet.

Could not test the new versions of the other apps on my work PC and guess what Microsoft decided not to release a 64bit version I heard so I am not even sure I can install it at home.

Well as I had not posted in a while and I am stuck with a "silly" customer I might as well just write something here.

What will happen in September?

I am actually going to take a Photography Class. Even though I have done photography (with interruptions) for quite some time; I decided to get some formal training. Hopefully I will be able to pick up some good lessons. I will share my finding of the 6 classes here. I decided to not start with the beginners course but the intermediary; after that they have plenty of guided "field-trips" in the area I can participate.

Towards the end of this month my sister is coming to visit me for a week. Have not seen her in almost a year so I am looking forward to that. Unfortunately I have to work all week but I am sure my fiance can keep her busy too .

Other then that? Not much. Sure will hit Stone Mountain at least once this month, see what is happening there….
